Fear and Loathing in North Christchurch

I have been defecated on from the Christchurch's private school's heights.

My cohort’s boisterous support of Cashmere High School’s basketball team at St. Bede’s was met with this reaction from their manager, “you may not be accustomed to a gymnasium good money has been spent on, but here we show a little respect for them”. We were then abruptly informed that we must leave, as it was an “unfair advantage”, in a game she insisted was “social”. To rub salt into our middle class wounds, as we left, passage was blithely allowed to hordes of Bede’s supporters.

Our Corollas and Lancers had to bear the brunt of the fruitless one-hour journey, but let it be said, if the same actions were taken on our turf, there would be stern words in the ears of St. Bede’s MOE cronies about the hurt to their Range Rovers and Beamers.
